Pre-Paid Funeral Plans
About our pre-arranged funeral plans
More and more people are choosing to pre-arrange their funeral to reduce the emotional worry and anxiety for loved ones.
Our plans guarantee that our funeral director’s costs (as set out in the plan paperwork) are covered as long as we carry out the funeral and your requirements don’t change. You can also choose to make a contribution towards third party costs which are outside our control, such as the fees for cremation or burial, medical fees and payment to a minister or officiant.
Some of the benefits include:
Put financial provision in place in advance
Make your funeral wishes known and discuss them with your family
Select your funeral director
You can tailor your plan to suit your preferences and include any special wishes
Ensure your family have access to expert help and advice at a difficult time

Many people wish to plan ahead for their funeral, with the main motivation being to reduce the worry for their loved ones. Often, people don’t get round to talking to their families about the kind of funeral they would like, which can lead to all sorts of anxiety for loved ones when the time comes. But taking out a pre-paid funeral plan is a sensible and cost-effective way to ensure your funeral wishes are known.
Our new, online funeral plans facility is provided by a leading UK funeral plan provider, Ecclesiastical Planning Services. It enables customers to plan and make provision for their funeral from home, in just 3 simple steps.
Online application
The online application can be completed in just a few minutes. Ecclesiastical Planning Services then arranges for the funeral plan pre-payment to be held in a guaranteed whole of life assurance policy until it is needed. Every penny (minus the management fee) is ring-fenced and cannot be used for any other purpose.
The whole of life assurance company used is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the PRA and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Funeral plans themselves are not regulated by the PRA or FCA, but Ecclesiastical Planning Services is registered with the Funeral Planning Authority.
One of the main reasons that we recommend taking out one of our funeral plans is because they provide outstanding financial security for your money.
All plan monies are held securely in whole of life assurance policies for extra peace of mind.
With a funeral plan from us, you can make top-ups or update your plan details at any time, and you can choose to pay upfront or by monthly instalments over 1, 2, 3 4 or 5 years.
